Design starts at supply products made in Germany!
The German supplier, woodworking and furniture industry is number one in Europe. In 2007 our industry's turnover reached about € 39.7 billion which represents about 25 % of the European woodworking and furniture industry's turnover.
The major part of our sales activities is done with the member states of the European Union: More than 63 % of German woodworking and furniture exports go currently to EU customers. 15% of the exports take place with Eastern Europe and 11 % with other European countries, i. e. Switzerland or Norway. About 5 % aim at the Asian markets.
Although the level of exports to these countries is still comparatively low, the markets in Eastern Europe and especially in Russia and the CIS are gaining more and more importance. German furniture manufacturers and woodworking enterprises are becoming more internationally orientated and are looking for new forms of co-operation and partnership all over the world. Consumers can now benefit from the high quality of woodworking products made in Germany world wide.
German supplier products are not only synonym for quality, it also stands for a unique concept and understanding of the term "design". Design means more than the outward shape of furniture. Furniture made in Germany combine function, haptic, ergonomics and environmental friendliness to a more global concept of design. Design starts at the supplier products. That’s why a tech screw can be extremely beautiful.
The participation of the German supplier, woodworking and furniture industry at the interzum moscow / Interkomplekt 2008 gives you the chance to experience the versatility and diversity of furniture made in Germany. At our booths you can see upholstery, furniture for living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens as well as products for the furniture component industry.
